Hello,
Thank you, from my heart, for the superlative work you continue to do
in helping us focus on the Y2K challenge as an opportunity and in
motivating us to take action.
I wanted to bring to your attention a new project that is aimed at
helping y2k-concerned people locate others in their geographic area
with whom they can connect. It began only a month ago, and so far over
450 people have registered. Each of them is sent the email address
and location (city, township, etc.) of others who have registered from
their area.
Until this service began, most of us who are working to increase
community awareness have felt we were the Lone Ranger, spitting in the
wind. Now we have a way to connect with others nearby, instead of
merely meeting like-minded people via the Net, and we have the
opportunity to develop some real local synergy.
